June 2004
Issue 1

Dear Canadian Sport Members,
Thank you for using SIRC's information services to fulfill your communication and education needs. Based on your feedback we are very pleased to launch a monthly newsletter targeted to the needs and topics of the sporting community.

This first issue is in response to numerous queries for activities in summer and surrounding the Olympics. Our goal is to showcase some of the resources available, many of which are indexed in the SportDiscus. Below you will find information on the Olympics, teaching resources, games and featured articles. As we build our editorial calendar, we welcome your feedback and I hope we will be able to highlight other topics directly of interest to your organizations.

Thank you,
Debra Gassewitz, President, SIRC
